Love Sculpture. On the road again.

noviembre 21, 2009

Canción.

Nombre: On the road again.

· · ·

Letra:

Well, I’m so tired of crying, but i’m out on the road again – I’m on the road again. Well, I’m so tired of crying, but I’m out on the road again – I’m on the road again. I ain’t got no woman just to call my special friend. You know the first time I traveled out in the rain and snow – In the rain and snow. You know the first time I traveled out in the rain and snow – In the rain and snow. I didn’t have no payroll, not even no place to go.

And my dear mother left me when I was quite young – When I was quite young. And my dear mother left me when I was quite Young – When I was quite young. She said “Lord, have mercy on my wicked son.” Take a hint from me, mama, please don’t you cry no more – Don’t you cry no more. Take a hint from me, mama, please don’t you cry no more – Don’t you cry no more. ‘Cause it’s soon one morning down the road I’m going. But I aint going down that long old lonesome road all by myself. But I aint going down that long old lonesome road all by myself. I can’t carry you, baby, gonna carry somebody else.

Ten Years After. I woke up this morning.

Video en directo. Canción.

Nombre: I woke up this morning.

· · ·

Letra:

I woke up this morning, my baby was gone, I woke up this morning, Lord, my baby was gone. I thought that she loved me, it seems that I’m wrong, yes, I am wrong.

I cried every night, darling, for you to come home, yes, I do. I cried every night, darling, for you to come home. I’m feeling so lonely, darling, I’m left all alone, yes, I’m left all alone.

I woke up this morning, Lord, the rain was falling down. I woke up this morning, Lord, the rain was falling down. I’m getting so lonely, darling, oh, yeah, baby, I wish I could cry, oh, yes, the rain is falling on the ground.

Them. Bad or good.

noviembre 12, 2009

Canción.

Nombre: Bad or good.

· · ·

Letra:

Everybody got some soul, I don’t care about young or old, gotta hold on when all is gone, make out like it’s fine. While we say yeah (bad or good), oh yeah (bad or good), yeah (bad or good), yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah (bad or good), that’ll ever happen (bad or good), everybody (bad or good) sometimes, oh, oh yeah.

Don’t even have to say one word, and it’s nothing that we’ve seen or heard, get out, get out, jump and shout, they’d like to know what it’s all about. Just say yeah (bad or good), oh yeah (bad or good), and it’s alright baby (bad or good), gotta happen (bad or good), everybody (bad or good), sometimes (bad or good), some sweet time, ooo-ooo.

If there’s something baby, you want me to do, come on over here and I’ll see about you, yeah I’ll make ya shake it all about, jump and shout. Just say yeah (bad or good), oh yeah (bad or good), wah ooo (bad or good, bad or good), that’ll happen, everybody (bad or good), sometime (bad or good). At sometime (bad or good), oh yeah yeah (bad or good), oh yeah (bad or good).

Letra:

I got a Maserati G.T., with snakeskin upholstery. I got a charge account at Goldblatt’s, but I ain’t got you. I got a closet full of clothes, but no matter where it goes, it keeps a ring in the nose, but I ain’t got you.

I got a tavern and a liquor store, I play the numbers, yeah, four forty-four. I got a mojo, yeah, don’t you know, I’m all dressed up with no place to go. I got women to the right of me, I got women to the left of me. I got women all around me, but I ain’t got you. No, I ain’t got you.

Cream. The coffee song.

octubre 22, 2009

Canción.

Nombre: The coffee song.

· · ·

Letra:

There’s a full time reservation, made in a bar at the railway station, and there’s a story, a kind of fable, on a card at the corner table. On it is a message; been there some time. It starts off, “The coffee tasted so fine…”

It says, “One day, this may find you, these few words may just remind you. We sat here together just to pass time, you said how the coffee tasted so fine.”

It goes on to say, “I love you, if you should find this I must hear from you”. It gives a number but the name has faded away. All that is left are just the words, “Maybe someday…”

That’s the story and the fable; Never leave alone from a corner table. Doo doo doo doo, doo doo doo doo, doo doo-doo doo doo-doo doo doo doo doo.

Janis Joplin. Maybe.

octubre 13, 2009

Video en directo. Canción.

Nombre: Maybe.

· · ·

Letra:

Maybe, oh if I could pray and I try, dear, you might come back home, home to me. Maybe, whoa, if I could ever hold your little hand, oh you might understand. Maybe, maybe, maybe, maybe, yeah. Maybe, maybe, maybe, maybe, maybe dear, I guess I might have done something wrong, honey I’d be glad to admit it. Oh, come on home to me! Honey maybe, maybe, maybe, maybe yeah.

Well I know that it just doesn’t ever seem to matter, baby, oh honey, when I go out or what I’m trying to do, can’t you see I’m still left here, and I’m holding on in needing you. Please, please, please, please, oh won’t you reconsider babe. Now come on, I said come back, won’t you come back to me!

Maybe dear, oh maybe, maybe, maybe, let me help you show me how. Honey, maybe, maybe, maybe, maybe, maybe, maybe, maybe, yeah, maybe, maybe, maybe, yeah. Ooh!
